Sunreef 70 Power NEXT ( Eco-Option )

The Sunreef 70 Power NEXT sits between the 60 and the 80 in the yard's power catamaran range. Sunreef publishes 21.3 m (69 ft 11 in) overall on an 11.35 m beam, CE design category A, 1,600 l of water and 4,000–8,000 l of fuel.

The doubling of water capacity over the 60 Power is the practical difference between the two boats: this is the length at which the range starts to support extended time away from a dock.

Sunreef's power range page lists the boat as the "70 Sunreef Power NEXT". Note that the yard's English-language page for this model currently returns a 404 while remaining listed in its own navigation and sitemap; the figures above are taken from the other language editions of the same page.

Sunreef publishes no speed, cruise or range figure for the Sunreef 70 Power NEXT, so those rows are empty.

The classic version is specified as 2 × 300 hp to 2 × 600 hp — a tighter band than the 60 Power's. The Eco version substitutes Sunreef's solar-electric package, with the yard's own composite-integrated panels and battery bank; no motor output or battery capacity is published for it.

Draft is not published. Given that this is a shallow-draft platform by design, it is worth asking Sunreef for the figure directly.

An 11.35 m beam on a 21.3 m hull produces a very large deck plan: a full-beam aft cockpit, a flybridge, and hull volumes deep enough to carry both guest and crew accommodation without one intruding on the other.

As across the range, layouts are drawn to the owner's brief rather than picked from options. The 1,600 l water capacity is the specification that shapes how the boat gets used — it supports a full complement aboard for materially longer than the 60 Power can.

Sunreef publishes no cabin or head count for the 70 Power.

At 70 feet the Sunreef power catamaran competes with flybridge monohulls of similar length that offer far less deck area and much more draft, and with a small number of custom multihull builders.

The Eco package remains the differentiator: solar panels designed and built in-house and integrated into the composite structure rather than added to it.

Against the 80 Power the 70 gives up substantial tankage and volume. Against the 70 Sail NEXT sailing catamaran it trades the rig and hydrogeneration for a flybridge and pace.

Buy the Sunreef 70 Power NEXT if you want the power range's deck plan with the water and fuel to actually leave the dock behind. It is the best-balanced boat in the range at a size that does not automatically require a large crew.

Step up to the 80 Power for materially more tankage and accommodation. Step down to the 60 Power if berthing and running costs matter more than range. Ask Sunreef directly for the model page — theirs is currently returning an error in English.
