Our Take
The 66 is the ULTIMA that makes the case properly. Seven and a quarter metres of beam is still narrow for a catamaran, but it is enough to carry eight guests and three crew, four thousand litres of fuel and eight hundred of water — and it still only draws one point two metres. That combination does not exist anywhere else I know of.
Sunreef offers a hydrofoil option on this hull, which is the sort of thing that sounds like a press release until you remember the yard builds its own solar panels and does its own composite engineering. Ask about it.
One caution: this is a 66 that measures 22 metres, which is seventy-two feet. Sunreef's ULTIMA numbers are not lengths in feet the way the rest of the range's are. Check the actual dimension against your berth, not the model name.

The Sunreef ULTIMA 66 is the second boat in the yard's narrow-beam performance range and the smallest with genuine crewed-yacht accommodation. Sunreef publishes 22 m (72 ft 2 in) overall on a 7.25 m (23 ft 9 in) beam, with 1.2 m (3 ft 11 in) of draft.
Accommodation is given as 8 guests plus 3 crew. Tankage is two fuel tanks of 2,000 l each and 800 l of water. The classic version runs Volvo Penta D8 with IPS 800 pods.
Note that the ULTIMA model numbers are not lengths in feet — the 66 is 72 ft overall. Sunreef offers a hydrofoil option and high-performance hybrid propulsion on this hull.

The ULTIMA 66 competes with 70-foot flybridge monohulls on berth footprint and beats them comprehensively on draft and deck stability. Against Sunreef's own power catamarans it gives up beam and full-beam saloon volume in exchange for marina access.
Within the ULTIMA range it is the first size with separate crew accommodation, which puts it in a different ownership category from the 55.
