The Perseo Super is Riva refining an already successful platform. The original 76' Perseo was one of the best-selling sportflies in its class, and the Super version addresses the few weak points without over-engineering the boat. The hull is proven, the engines are reliable, and the build quality is consistent with what you expect from the Ferretti Group. The optional 1,800 hp package is worth the money if you're running in open water regularly. The extra speed matters less than the ability to hold cruise in a chop without pushing the engines.
This boat is for the owner who has experience in the 60- to 70-foot range and wants more space without stepping into full-time crew territory. It's not for the first-time buyer who thinks a 76-footer is just a bigger version of a 50-foot express. The systems are more complex, the operating costs are higher, and the boat requires attention. But if you're comfortable running a yacht this size or you're ready to hire a captain for longer trips, the Perseo Super delivers the balance of performance and liveability that most sportflies promise but don't execute.
Resale is strong because Riva has brand equity and the Perseo platform has a track record.
