Our Take
The D 365 is where a dual console stops pretending to be a day boat. Thirty-seven eleven, twelve feet of beam, and — standard equipment, not an option — an 8-kilowatt Fischer Panda diesel generator and a 10,000 BTU reverse-cycle air conditioner for the cabin. That is the entire argument for this boat. It means the air conditioning runs at anchor with the engines shut down, which is the difference between a boat you can technically sleep on and a boat you will actually sleep on. Add a forward berth, an aft berth with a 6-inch mattress, an enclosed head with vacuum flush and a full shower, a full-beam sunroof, and a standard Yamaha joystick and bow thruster so one person can put 17,000 pounds into a slip.
Pursuit publishes its homework and this sheet is worth reading twice. Run 4/4/2024 with four aboard and 318 gallons in the tank — 20,657 pounds. Wide open the triple F350s give 58.0 mph and burn 90.3 gallons an hour. At 3,500 rpm it does 31.6 mph on 29.0 gph, which is 1.09 miles to the gallon and 312 miles of range. Put those two lines together: thirty-one and a half miles an hour costs 29 gallons an hour, and the next twenty-six cost you another sixty-one. Fifty-eight mph is a real capability — it is how you beat weather back to an inlet — but it is not a cruise speed, and their own numbers say so.
The honest limit is what the boat is not. Twelve feet of beam ends the trailer conversation permanently, and 9 feet 3 inches of hardtop clearance means you plan bridges. The cabin is a weekend for a couple or a small family — two berths and a proper head, but no galley below and no separate stateroom. And 1.09 mpg is the cost of a thousand horsepower: the D 306 two rungs down runs 1.64 mpg and covers more ground on far less fuel. If you want four people sleeping comfortably with a real galley on this same hull and the same triple F350s, that boat is the OS 355 and you trade the walk-through deck to get it. Buy the D 365 because you want the biggest, best-protected day boat Pursuit makes with the equipment to stay out overnight — not because you want a cabin cruiser.

Can you sleep on the Pursuit D 365?
Yes, and it is the only Denali with real berths. The cabin holds a forward berth with cushions and hull-side windows, plus an aft berth with a recessed 6-inch foam mattress and a cedar-lined hanging locker.
The head is enclosed to starboard with a vacuum flush, a 22-gallon holding tank, a Corian countertop and a full shower, and the cabin runs a 10,000 BTU reverse-cycle air conditioning unit with heat. Access is through a fiberglass door, and there are two opening port lights with screens.
Pursuit describes it as basic amenities for a couple or small family to weekend aboard rather than a stateroom, and that is the fair reading. Fresh water is 42 gallons, which is what sets the real limit.
