You want a 60-footer that feels like a sports car, not a cottage. The S6 is Azimut's triple-pod coupe built to run.
Part of the Azimut S series — see how owners step up through the lineup.

The S6 represents Azimut's commitment to engineering over marketing. The triple IPS setup is not a gimmick. It solves real problems: docking a 60-footer solo, maintaining course in beam seas, and achieving 30-knot cruise speeds without burning 120 gallons per hour. The carbon fiber work is legitimate. You feel the difference in how the boat settles at rest and how it responds to throttle inputs. This is not a flybridge cruiser pretending to be sporty. It's a performance boat that happens to have three cabins.
The S6 works for the owner who runs 100 to 150 hours per year and wants to cover distance quickly. It does not work for someone who needs a 12-person entertaining platform or plans to hire a full-time captain. The helm is designed for the driver, not for guests. The layout prioritizes efficiency over volume. If you're comparing this to a Prestige 590 or a Princess V60, understand that the S6 is faster and more driver-focused, but it gives up some interior volume and ride softness.
Resale will depend on how well the carbon fiber construction ages and whether Azimut maintains strong dealer support in North America. Early S6 owners report solid build quality and responsive service networks. Maintenance costs are higher than fiberglass equivalents, particularly for gelcoat and structural repairs. Budget accordingly. The S6 is not the cheapest boat to own in this class, but it's one of the most capable if you value speed and handling over space and comfort..

The S6 is the opening model of Azimut's S series of sport coupes. The sheet reads 59'1" overall on a 15'7" beam and 5'3" draft, with 686 gallons of fuel and 156 gallons of water.
Like the rest of the S line it pairs a carbon-fiber superstructure with a low, fast profile — the sport silhouette in place of a full flybridge, with a sportfly upper deck offered as an option.
Triple 550 hp pod drives deliver a published maximum of 35 knots and a 30-knot cruise at test load. The planing hull runs 15.5 degrees of deadrise at the transom, sharpening to 21.2 amidships.
Full-load displacement is 65,763 lbs, and the carbon superstructure keeps weight down and the center of gravity low.
Three cabins and two heads, plus a crew cabin with its own head — a full family layout under a sport profile. Berths run six guests plus crew.
The main deck opens the saloon wide to the cockpit in the S-series manner, trading the flybridge for one wide living level close to the water.
The S series is Azimut's sport line, and the S6 is its entry — the smallest hull in the range's carbon-topped sport format, at the most owner-manageable size in the line.
Within Azimut's range it shares its length with the Fly 60: the same footprint pointed at speed and profile instead of a second deck.
Buy the S6 if you want the fast, low-slung Azimut — a couple or young family that boats hard on weekends and wants pace with three cabins of capability.
Choose the Fly 60 instead if guests and entertaining outrank the run itself, or step to the S7 when berth count and the bigger sport deck justify 71 feet.
The S6 reaches a published 35 knots and cruises at 30, on triple 550-hp Volvo Penta IPS 700 pod drives. Triple pods give it handling to match the pace — joystick docking included.
686 gallons of fuel and 156 gallons of water — sized for Florida-Bahamas legs at a 30-knot cruise.
Yes. Triple IPS with joystick control takes the stress out of close-quarters handling, and the boat is scaled so an experienced couple can run it without help — the crew cabin is there when you want a mate aboard, not because you need one.
Azimut's carbon-fiber construction program: the superstructure is laid up in carbon fiber to cut weight high in the boat and lower the center of gravity. On the S6 it is part of how a 59-footer with three cabins still behaves like a sport boat.
59'1" overall with a 15'7" beam and 5'3" draft, and full-load displacement of 65,763 pounds — a genuine 60-foot sport coupe.
Three cabins and two heads for owner and guests, plus a crew cabin and head. That is real weekend-family accommodation inside a sport-coupe profile.
