Moving Up the S Series
S buyers tend to arrive from two directions: stepping up from performance dayboats and wanting real accommodations, or crossing over from a flybridge yacht and deciding they value pace and profile over the second deck. The S7 to S8 step adds a cabin's worth of volume and presence while keeping the sport-yacht character intact.
If you host large groups more than you drive, look at the Fly series first — the S is for owners who take the helm.
Our Take
I drive a lot of boats, and the S7 is the one I take the long way home in. Triple IPS 1050s, carbon up top, and a hull that begs for throttle — this is the Azimut for owners who would rather run the boat than host on it. The Sport Deck gives you the open-air helm without the bulk of a full flybridge, and that is exactly the point.
Be honest with yourself here: if your Saturdays are ten people and a floating lunch, buy a Fly. If they are you, one friend, and open water in front of you, the S series is the best-looking way to do it.
