Quick Verdict

  • Centerline walk-through deck with chest-high bulkheads and bow seating, so guests move fore and aft without climbing over anything on a 34'9" hull
  • Full galley and a private head below the helm - the two features that decide whether a mixed group stays out for a full day
  • 200 gallons of fuel, 30 of fresh water and a 20-gallon holding tank behind twin Mercury Verado outboards, with Garmin navigation integrated at the helm

Our Take

At 34'9" most builders hand you a console you walk around. Tiara drew the 34 LX as a boat you walk through - a centerline walkway running the length of the deck, chest-high bulkheads either side of it, and a galley and a private head amidships. That decision is the whole product, and it is worth more on a Saturday than any number on a spec sheet.

The private head below the helm is what keeps a mixed group aboard past lunch instead of turning for home. The walkway is what lets a guest who is not steady on their feet get to the bow seating without a hand on the rail the whole way. Everything else follows from treating the deck as one continuous room: the convertible aft seating, the bow backrests, the marine storage built in around the galley rather than bolted on after it. At 13,800 lbs dry on a 22-degree transom, it is a substantial hull for the length, and it feels like one.

Two things to settle before you sign. Confirm the exact Verado package on the hull you are offered, because Tiara has shown this boat with more than one rating. Then get observed speed and burn at your intended rpm in writing at sea trial, and work your own numbers off 200 gallons - that is a day-boat tank, and what it buys you depends on the props and the package under the cowls.

Tiara Yachts 34 LX Overview

The 34 LX is Tiara's luxury crossover: 34'9" overall with the integrated platform, on an 11'0" beam and a 3'1" draft, at 13,800 lbs dry.

A centerline walkway runs the length of the boat, so guests move from the aft cockpit to the bow seating without climbing over anything. Aft seating transforms between lounging and social arrangements, and the boat carries dedicated marine storage, a well-equipped galley and a private head.

The transom carries 22 degrees of deadrise, and the boat stands 8'7" from the waterline to the standard hardtop, 9'11" to the Garmin radar.

Performance & Handling

Twin Mercury Verado outboards power the 34 LX, with Garmin marine navigation integrated at the helm.

The boat carries 200 gallons of fuel, 30 gallons of fresh water and a 20-gallon holding tank - a day-boat tankage plan, sized for long days out and back rather than for overnighting away from a fuel dock.

Confirm the engine package on the hull you are offered, and get observed speed and burn at your intended rpm in writing at sea trial.

Interior & Accommodations

The 34 LX puts its volume on deck, and the layout is better for it. The centerline walkway opens onto bow seating with its own backrests, and the aft seating reconfigures so a group can face each other or spread out.

Below the helm sits a private head - the feature that decides whether a mixed group stays out for a full day or turns for home early.

The galley is set up for real use, with dedicated marine storage around it, so lunch aboard does not mean a cooler on the sole.

Market Position

At 34'9" the 34 LX is the shortest hull in Tiara's current lineup, and the one that asks least of an owner-operator: outboards on the transom, one head to service, and no berths to make up.

The LS boats sit alongside it at similar lengths with center-console proportions and a berth below; the LE boats above it add staterooms and a below-deck galley. The LX takes the opposite view - the whole boat is the entertaining space.

Who the 34 LX Is For

Buy the 34 LX if your boating is day-shaped: a slip you leave in the morning and return to at night, six to eight people aboard, and a galley and private head that keep them comfortable for all of it.

Step up to the 35 LS if you want a convertible queen berth and a much larger fuel tank for longer runs. Step up to the 39 LE if two proper staterooms and a below-deck galley are the point.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the deck layout on the Tiara 34 LX?

A centerline walkway runs the length of the boat, so guests move from the aft cockpit to the bow seating without climbing over anyone. The aft seating transforms between lounging and social arrangements, the bow seating has its own backrests, and a well-equipped galley with dedicated marine storage sits below the helm alongside a private head.

How much fuel and water does the Tiara 34 LX carry?

200 gallons of fuel, 30 gallons of fresh water and a 20-gallon holding tank. That is day-boat tankage by design, sized for long days out and back rather than for staying away from a fuel dock. Get observed burn at your intended rpm in writing at sea trial and work your own numbers off the 200 gallons.

Can you sleep aboard a Tiara 34 LX?

The 34 LX is drawn as a day boat. What sits below the helm is a galley and a private head rather than a cabin, and the rest of the boat is given over to seating and the centerline walkway. If a berth matters, the Tiara 35 LS is one foot longer and converts its below-deck forward seating into a queen berth alongside a private head.

How big is the Tiara 34 LX?

34' 9" overall including the integrated platform, on an 11' 0" beam, drawing 3' 1" and weighing 13,800 lbs dry. Transom deadrise is 22 degrees. Waterline to the standard hardtop is 8' 7", and 9' 11" to the Garmin radar - the two heights to work from for a covered slip or a fixed bridge.
