The upper helm folds away electrically and the console disappears with it - and the aft end can be a garage, a skipper's cabin or open cockpit, decided before the boat is built.

Quick Verdict

  • The upper helm sits on an electrically folding centre console. Deployed you have a second station with dedicated driver and passenger seats and a refrigerator between them; folded, the boat goes back to a coupe profile. That is the whole reason this model exists.
  • Same hull as the 560 FLY - 57' 7" length overall, 15' 10" beam, 22' 6" with the balconies down, 581 gallons of fuel, 198 gallons of water. What differs is the top deck and the stern.
  • Beach Mode is an option, not standard. It drops balconies on both sides, opens sliding windows on both sides and adds a convertible bar built into the port galley. Without it the beam stays 15' 10".
  • The aft end comes three ways: open, a Skipper Aft Cabin for one crew member, or Carousel Mode with a hydraulically opening tender garage, a rotating aft seat and storage. Chosen once, at the order desk.
  • Four shaft-drive power packages, 2 x 670 hp to 2 x 900 hp. Shaft drive across the whole range means conventional running gear that any competent yard can service.
  • Three cabins and two bathrooms, fourteen aboard for the day. Wooden wall strips and leather run through all three cabins, not just the master.

Our Take

This is the boat I would put in front of a client who has spent two years telling me they want a flybridge and telling their spouse they hate how flybridge boats look. The console up top folds away electrically and takes the whole upper helm with it. Deployed, you have a real second station with proper driver and passenger seats and a fridge between them. Folded, you have a coupe. And you make that call on a Saturday morning rather than once, forever, at the order desk. I have watched a lot of clever convertible arrangements go unused after one season because they took twenty minutes and two people to change. This one takes a switch.

The part I would spend the most time on is the back of the boat, because it is chosen once. Leave it open and you have the most cockpit. Take the Skipper Aft Cabin and you have somewhere for a hand to sleep, which changes what the boat can do on a long trip more than any single piece of equipment. Take Carousel Mode and you get a hydraulically opening tender garage with a rotating seat over it, so the dinghy lives out of the weather and the cockpit stays clean. Almost everybody standing in a showroom wants all three. Work out which one matches the season you actually have.

One more thing, and it is the reason to read the 560 FLY page alongside this one. That boat is the same hull underneath, figure for figure, and it has been on the market long enough to have a longer track record behind it. Read it, and then go and get your own numbers on the day: observed fuel burn at your cruising rpm and a measured top speed with the boat loaded the way you actually cruise, both in writing before you leave the dock. Those two things settle more than any specification sheet will. And ask them to run the boat beam-on to a chop while you are aboard, because a tall enclosed top deck is exactly where those integrated wind tunnels either earn their keep or do not.

Galeon 570 SKY Overview

The Galeon 570 SKY, launched in August 2026, takes the 57' 7" hull that already underpins the 560 FLY and puts a different kind of top deck on it. The upper station is built around an electrically folding centre console with dedicated driver and passenger seats: deployed when you want to run from up there, concealed when you want the coupe profile back. The boat can also be driven from a standing position, and there is a refrigerator built in between the seats. Below it, an opening sunroof sits over the main navigation station and a skipper's side door puts whoever is driving onto the side deck in two steps for docking.

The published dimensions: 57' 7" length overall, 15' 10" of beam, and 22' 6" of usable beam with the fold-down balconies open. Fuel is 581 gallons in two equal tanks, fresh water is 198 gallons, the grey tank holds 61 gallons and the black tank 66. Accommodation is three cabins and two bathrooms, with fourteen rated aboard for the day. Power is four shaft-drive packages running from 2 x 670 hp to 2 x 900 hp.

Three things are decided at the order desk rather than later. Beach Mode is an option here - it drops balconies on both sides, opens sliding windows on both sides, and adds a convertible bar built into the port side of the galley. The aft section comes three ways: left open, fitted with a Skipper Aft Cabin for one crew member, or built as Carousel Mode with a hydraulically opening tender garage, a rotating aft seat, a storage compartment and a table with lowerable legs. And the Atlantic Design Package, developed for this model and sold as part of the Premium Package, adds coordinated painted finishes to selected exterior components. Integrated wind tunnels manage airflow around the superstructure and damp lateral movement.

Performance & Handling

The 570 SKY is offered with four shaft-drive power packages, from 2 x 670 hp at the bottom of the range to 2 x 900 hp at the top. Shaft drive across the whole range means conventional, widely serviceable running gear - worth knowing if you cruise away from a dealer network - and a 460 hp spread across the pair means the demo boat you ride may be a long way from the boat you order. Ask what is fitted before you draw conclusions from a sea trial.

The 570 SKY launched in August 2026, and the 560 FLY is the same hull underneath: the same 57' 7" length, the same 15' 10" beam, the same 22' 6" open beam, the same 581 gallons of fuel and the same 2 x 670 to 2 x 900 hp power band, with its figures published in full. Read those, then get observed burn and measured top speed at your own sea trial and hold the 570's numbers to them as they arrive.

Fuel is 581 gallons across two equal tanks. Whatever cruise speed the boat settles at, that capacity and an observed burn figure are the two numbers that turn into range.

Integrated wind tunnels in the superstructure are Galeon's answer to airflow and lateral movement, which on a boat carrying a high, enclosed top deck is worth asking about at anchor as well as under way. Feel it beam-on to a chop before you decide what you think.

Interior & Accommodations

The main deck is laid out symmetrically, which is a quieter design decision than it sounds: access from aft works the same on both sides, and the exterior stays balanced rather than trading one side deck for interior volume. The galley is built as part of the social space rather than a room off it - a starboard sofa with a folding backrest, a built-in full-size refrigerator, an electric induction cooktop, an oven with grill and microwave functions, an extractor hood and a stainless-steel sink. On the port side a sliding window opens the galley directly onto the balcony and the convertible bar, so drinks go out without anybody walking around.

Below deck are three cabins and two bathrooms: a master, a forward cabin and a guest cabin. The master carries a curved ceiling and a wooden headboard, and wooden wall strips and leather elements run through all three cabins rather than being reserved for the owner's suite. The Atlantic Design Package, developed for this model and sold within the Premium Package, extends the same coordination outside with painted finishes on selected exterior components.

Up top, the Skydeck is the part worth going to see in person. The centre console folds away electrically, taking the upper helm with it, and the dedicated driver and passenger seats have a refrigerator built in between them. You can run the boat standing, which changes your sightlines in close quarters more than most people expect. Below it, an opening sunroof over the main navigation station brings light and air into the helm area, and the skipper's side door gets you from the wheel to the side deck without crossing the saloon.

Forward, the bow carries a sofa and wide sunpads with real storage underneath them - cushions, fenders, deck gear - which is the difference between a tidy foredeck and a cockpit locker that has to hold everything.

Market Position

The 570 SKY's nearest relative is its own hull twin. The 560 FLY is the same 57' 7" length overall, the same 15' 10" beam, the same 22' 6" beam with the balcony down, the same 581 gallons of fuel and the same 198 gallons of water. Figure for figure, below the rail, it is the same boat. What separates them is the top deck and what happens at the stern.

The 560 FLY wears a conventional flybridge and carries a twin crew cabin aft as part of the layout - three cabins plus crew, two heads. The 570 SKY hides its upper station under an electrically folding console and leaves the aft section as a decision: open, a Skipper Aft Cabin for one, or Carousel Mode with a hydraulic tender garage and a rotating seat. If you want crew accommodation as standard equipment, the 560 is already built that way. If you want a tender out of the weather, or a cleaner cockpit, the 570 gives you the choice.

Against the wider 55-to-60-foot market the 570's argument is the folding upper helm. Sport-coupe rivals at this size ask you to give up the second station altogether to get the profile; conventional flybridge boats ask you to carry the profile all year to keep the station. The 570 is built so that decision is made per weekend rather than once. The Azimut Seadeck 6 at 56' 7" and Princess F55 at 57' 8" are the two closest points of comparison - one from each side of that argument.

Two things to settle before the boat is laid up. Beach Mode is an option on this model, and the 22' 6" open beam only exists if it is on the build sheet. And the aft configuration is chosen once - a garage and a skipper's cabin are not a later refit.

Who the 570 SKY Is For

The 570 SKY fits the owner who has been arguing with themselves about profile. If you want a second helm, an elevated view and somewhere to sit up high at anchor, but you do not want to look at a flybridge in the marina all season, this boat is built specifically to end that argument: the console folds away electrically and the top deck goes back to reading as a coupe.

It fits an owner-operator. You can drive from a standing position up top, which improves sightlines in close quarters more than people expect. There is a skipper's side door from the helm straight to the side deck for docking, and every power package in the range is shaft drive - conventional, widely serviceable running gear that any competent yard can look after.

It fits someone with a firm view about the stern. Three configurations are on the table: leave it open, take a Skipper Aft Cabin for one crew member, or take Carousel Mode with a hydraulically opening tender garage, a rotating aft seat, storage and a table with lowerable legs. Most owners at this size want a tender out of the weather or a berth for a hand, rarely both, and the boat is designed around that choice being made deliberately.

It is the wrong boat if you want crew accommodation as standard rather than as an option - the 560 FLY, the same hull with a conventional flybridge, is already built that way and carries its crew cabin as part of the layout. And it is the wrong boat if you need a fourth cabin or a third head: the 570 is three cabins and two bathrooms, with fourteen aboard for the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Galeon 570 SKY the same boat as the 560 FLY?

Below the rail, yes. The 570 SKY and the 560 FLY share the same 57' 7" length overall, the same 15' 10" beam, the same 22' 6" beam with the balconies down, the same 581 gallons of fuel and the same 198 gallons of water, and both are offered across the same 2 x 670 hp to 2 x 900 hp power band. Figure for figure, it is one hull.

What separates them is the top deck and the stern. The 560 FLY wears a conventional flybridge and carries a twin crew cabin aft as part of its layout - three cabins plus crew, two heads. The 570 SKY folds its upper helm away on an electrically operated console and leaves the aft section as a choice between open cockpit, a Skipper Aft Cabin for one, or Carousel Mode with a hydraulic tender garage.

The 560 FLY has been on the market longer, so its page is the useful one to read alongside this model.

Should I buy the Galeon 570 SKY or the 560 FLY?

It comes down to two questions, because the hull is identical - same 57' 7" length, same 15' 10" beam, same 22' 6" open beam, same 581 gallons of fuel.

First, do you want the flybridge visible? The 560 FLY wears a conventional one all year. The 570 SKY folds its upper helm away on an electric console, so the boat is a coupe when you want it to be and a two-station flybridge boat when you do not.

Second, do you want crew accommodation built in or optional? The 560 FLY carries a twin crew cabin aft as part of its layout. On the 570 SKY the stern is a choice: open, a Skipper Aft Cabin for one, or a hydraulic tender garage with a rotating seat.

If you cruise with a hand aboard and want that settled, buy the 560. If you want the profile to change with the weekend, or you would rather carry a tender out of the weather than a crew berth, buy the 570. The 560 FLY also has a longer market history behind it, which is worth something if you would rather buy a known quantity than a first-season model.

How much power can the Galeon 570 SKY take?

Four shaft-drive packages, running from 2 x 670 hp at the bottom of the range to 2 x 900 hp at the top.

Two things follow from that. Shaft drive across the whole range means conventional, widely serviceable running gear - no specialist and no laptop required in a small port a long way from a dealer network. And a 460 hp spread across the pair means the demo boat you ride may be a long way from the boat you order, so ask what is fitted before you form an opinion from a sea trial.

Ask for observed fuel burn at your normal cruising rpm in writing while you are aboard. With 581 gallons in two equal tanks, that single figure is what turns into a cruising range.

What are the three aft configurations on the Galeon 570 SKY?

The aft section is offered three ways, and it is decided before the boat is built.

Left open, you get the most cockpit and the simplest boat. The Skipper Aft Cabin turns that space into private quarters for one crew member - a single berth that changes what the boat can realistically do on a long trip more than most equipment does. Carousel Mode is the entertaining answer: a hydraulically opening tender garage, a rotating aft seat over it, a storage compartment, and a table with lowerable legs and a filler cushion so the whole area converts.

The tender garage and the skipper's cabin occupy the same volume, so you are choosing one. It is not a refit anybody sensibly undertakes later.
