The Sport Yacht series is two boats, and both of them share a hull with a Predator. The 65 Sport Yacht is identical to the Predator 65 on every published figure. The 75 Sport Yacht is identical to the Predator 75 on every published figure.
So there is no specification difference to choose between. What separates them is what Sunseeker actually changed, which in both cases is the arrangement of the decks and the way you drive the boat.
On the 65, the Sport Yacht's headline is the SkyHelm: a helm station that stands upright with an IPS docking joystick for low-speed manoeuvring and lowers into bespoke seats with carbon fibre backrests for running. Its Beach Club is bought by carrying the tender on the bathing platform instead of in the garage. The Predator 65 goes the other way - an extra-wide garage sized for a Williams 345 and four cockpit configurations.
On the 75, the Sport Yacht is the boat with the extra deck. It carries a traditional second helm on a spacious flybridge reached by a stairway, plus a foredeck with seating and a table for six. The Predator 75 has one helm on the main deck under a carbon sunroof and nothing above it. If you have been told the Sport Yacht is the enclosed version of an open Predator, that is backwards.
Both boats are British-built at Poole, and the 75 Sport Yacht shares the highest published speed in the entire nineteen-model Sunseeker range.

65 Sport Yacht - 67' 2" overall, 16' 8" beam, 5' 3" draft, 83,357 lbs at half load. Twin Volvo Penta IPS 1200 at 2 x 900 HP on pods, 924 gallons of fuel, 211 of water, three cabins with a fourth optional across four en-suites plus crew, up to 35 knots. The distinguishing features on its own page are the SkyHelm - upright with an IPS docking joystick for manoeuvring, lowered into carbon-backed seats for running - a fully appointed crew cabin located forward of the garage, and a Beach Club specification achieved by carrying the tender on the bathing platform so the vacated space gains direct sea access, a bar, a fridge, a BBQ and free-standing seating. 75 Sport Yacht - 75' 8" overall, 17' 8" beam, 6' 2" draft, 103,396 lbs at half load. Twin MAN V12-1550 at 2 x 1,550 HP on shafts, 1,268 gallons of fuel, 211 of water, three cabins with a fourth optional across three en-suites plus crew, up to 40 knots. Eight and a half feet longer, roughly 20,000 lbs heavier, shafts instead of pods, five knots faster. Its own page describes a traditional second helm on a spacious flybridge reached by a stairway with companion seating and a chaise-longue sunpad, a spacious foredeck with seating and a table for six, dual steps from the bathing platform to the aft cockpit, a tender garage sized for a Williams 395, and a double-piece windscreen. The step between the two is the largest single jump in the Sunseeker performance line-up: eleven inches more beam, eleven inches more draft, 20,039 lbs more at half load, 344 more gallons of fuel, a change from pod drives to shafts, and five more knots. It is also a change in head count - four en-suites and day head on the 65, three on the 75, which is what Sunseeker publishes and worth reading twice.
Neither boat gains anything on the specification over its Predator twin. If a broker tells you the Sport Yacht is roomier, faster or heavier, ask which published figure they mean.
This is the series where I most want you to look past the model name and read the deck plan.
Both Sport Yachts share a hull with a Predator, and they share it completely - same length, beam, draft, weight, engines, tanks, cabins, en-suites and top speed. So the decision between a Sport Yacht and its Predator twin is never about capability. It is about how you want to use the boat, and Sunseeker has been quite deliberate about giving you two coherent answers instead of one compromise.
At 65 feet the question is your tender. The 65 Sport Yacht's Beach Club works by putting the tender on the bathing platform and turning the garage into a room with sea access, a bar, a fridge and a BBQ. The Predator 65 keeps the tender inside an extra-wide garage sized for a Williams 345 and launches it over a diagonal sliding hydraulic platform. You cannot have both. If your best days are spent anchored with people in and out of the water, take the Sport Yacht - and you also get the SkyHelm, which stands up to dock and drops to drive, and which on a boat with no second station is a genuinely useful piece of engineering.
At 75 feet the question is simpler and bigger: will you use a flybridge? The 75 Sport Yacht has a traditional second helm up there reached by a stairway, and a foredeck with a table for six, so the boat has three social areas to the Predator's two. What makes it interesting is that it does not pay for the deck in speed - both boats are published at up to 40 knots, which is the joint highest figure across all nineteen current Sunseeker models. An upper station at the top of the brand's speed range is not a common combination.
One job applies to both. Get observed burn at your intended cruising rpm in writing on the day, and do the arithmetic yourself against 924 gallons or 1,268.
