Sunseeker Manhattan 94: The Owner's Stateroom Moves Upstairs

Let me set the terms before anything else, because most of what you will read about this yacht ignores them.

The Sunseeker Manhattan 94 has not been delivered to an owner. Its world premiere is the Cannes Yachting Festival, 8 to 13 September 2026, where Sunseeker has confirmed it as the centrepiece of its stand. Every image released so far is a manufacturer rendering, not a photograph of a finished boat.

So this is a yacht you judge from the drawings and the published figures until the first hulls run. Both are worth going through carefully, because the central decision Sunseeker has made here is an unusual one.

The decision that defines the boat

Sunseeker has put the full-beam owner's stateroom on the main deck, forward of the saloon.

In this size band that is unusual. The conventional arrangement is a full-beam owner's cabin amidships on the lower deck, which is quiet, well balanced in a seaway and gives the guest cabins a clean route past it. Sunseeker has moved the suite up a level and forward instead, and given it a lobby, substantial stowage, a generous en suite and panoramic glazing on both sides.

What you gain is daylight, outlook, and a life that happens on one deck. The owner is on the same level as the saloon, the dining table and the side decks, and never goes below to go to bed. What you trade is the motion advantage of being low and amidships, and the fact that the main deck now has to carry a stateroom, a saloon and a dining area for ten in the same 93' 10".

That trade is the entire question about this yacht, and it is not a question a rendering can answer. Pace the main deck out at Cannes.

The rest of the layout

The saloon takes floor-to-ceiling glazing with starboard sliding doors opening to the side deck, an L-shaped sofa and integrated cabinetry. Forward, the formal dining area seats up to ten. A feature wall separates the living space from the crew area, which gives crew a working route that does not run through the party.

The four guest cabins are on the lower deck, each with an en suite and a choice of double or twin configuration. That takes the boat to up to ten guests. Five en-suites in total, and up to five crew.

At water level aft, the Beach Club has a tender garage with stowage for water toys and diving gear. Sunseeker's X-TEND sunbed system converts the seating there: facing aft in its lowered position, or forward at cockpit level at the touch of a button.

Above, the flybridge flows forward into the foredeck via walk-around side decks. The foredeck itself has two separate seating areas and an oversized sunpad. At the centre of the profile sits a raised pilot house.

The published numbers

Length overall is 93' 10"; Sunseeker names this class the 94.

Beam is 21' 6". Draft is 6' 9", quoted as maximum at full load. Displacement is 196,824 lbs at half load, so that figure already carries a working amount of fuel, water and gear. Fuel is 2,972 US gallons, fresh water 396 US gallons, black water 211 US gallons.

Maximum speed is up to 26 knots.

The engines, and the option that matters most

Power is twin MTU 10V 2000 M96Ls, with the more powerful 12V 2000 M96X as the step above, turning straight shafts. Total output is quoted at up to 4,000 PS.

Sunseeker also lists optional stabilisers and advanced navigation systems. On a shaft-drive 93-footer intended for extended cruising, stabilisation is one of the option-list decisions with the biggest effect on how the boat feels, and it should be settled at order rather than at handover.

The name collision, and how to research around it

A completely different Sunseeker Manhattan 94 was built between 2003 and 2005. It is an unrelated yacht. Its dimensions, engines and performance numbers are scattered through aggregator databases and used listings, and search engines do not distinguish between the two.

So if you are researching this boat and you find a specification that looks conveniently detailed, check the build year before you use a single figure from it. That one habit will save you from most of the bad information circulating on this model.

For performance, the figures worth having are the ones taken off the water. When the first hulls run, collect observed burn at your intended cruise, with sea state, trim and load recorded alongside.

Where it sits

The Ferretti 940 at 95' 1", with five guest cabins and two crew, is the closest cross-shop on size and accommodation. The Azimut Grande 30M at 94' 2" runs five cabins on pod propulsion and is a very different boat to drive. The Princess X90 at 88' 11" comes at the same buyer with a different idea about where volume should go.

All three have delivered boats you can walk today. That is a real advantage over a yacht premiering next month, and you should weigh it.

Inside Sunseeker's own family, this is the flagship of the nameplate, above the Manhattan 68, which is a delivered and proven yacht if you want the same builder without the pre-delivery risk. The full range is on the Manhattan series page.

If you are serious, the thing to do is straightforward. Get to Cannes between 8 and 13 September 2026, walk the main deck, and decide whether the owner's stateroom forward is the arrangement you want to live with.
