Dock & Dine in Seward
Dining in Seward works from a berth and a pair of shoes. The restaurants sit minutes from the small boat harbour rather than on a guest dock, so take moorage first and walk in.
Ray's Waterfront, Seward's oldest family-owned restaurant, opens April to September and looks straight out over "mountains, sea life, and boat harbor activity." The Cookery serves Tuesday to Saturday evenings. Seward Brewing Company closes in winter. Woody's Thai Kitchen puts itself "a short 5 to 10 minute walk south of the Seward Small Boat Harbor."
One dock on the waterfront is not for you. The Harbor 360 Hotel sits "directly on the Seward Small Boat Harbor" and has guests "board from the dock behind the hotel" — that dock belongs to its tour-boat partner, and the hotel offers no moorage. Berth in the harbour instead and walk the two minutes.
