Dock & Dine in Fort Pierce
Fort Pierce keeps its dock-and-dine honest: the city marina puts restaurants on its own property and publishes a lunch/dinner slip rate — $10 for up to three hours — so eating ashore here is a line item, not a gamble.
The City Marina — tie up on the rate card
Cobb's Landing and Crabby's Dockside are on the city's own On-Site Restaurants list, and Little Jim Bait & Tackle — established 1944 in a Navy guard shack on the North Causeway — completes the city marina family with waterfront dining, bait and live music. Crabby's own site was unreachable at review time, so its row rides the city's listing; confirm with the marina office before a special night.
Taylor Creek and Seaway Drive — the working inlet
Skippers Cove Bar & Grill sits inside Safe Harbor Harbortown, where the operator's transient slips run to 100 feet — yard, fuel dock and dinner in one basin. 12A Buoy holds down Fisherman's Wharf on Taylor Creek. And the Seaway Drive row — Chuck's Seafood since 1961, On the Edge, the Square Grouper's Fort Pierce outpost, and Manatee Island Bar & Grill on the Indian River side — is a string of inlet-front landmarks whose sites are silent on patron docks. The play for all of them: check local dockage options, starting with the City Marina's three-hour slips across the harbor.
Vero Beach — the mooring field's table
Riverside Café under the Barber Bridge extends the plainest welcome on this stretch — arrive by car or boat, in its own words — and the city marina's moorings and fuel dock are around the corner in Bethel Creek. If you're on a ball for the season, this is the commute.

Mind the water more than the parking: currents run 4 to 6 knots through the inlet cut, the South Bridge carries a strong cross-current, and manatee and idle-speed zones govern everything west of the ICW crossing.
