Sunreef’s composite construction is proven at this point, and the 100 Power benefits from the yard’s experience scaling up from 80-foot cats. The twin MAN 1,300 hp setup is conservative but reliable, and the 3,000-nautical-mile range at 10 knots is real. The Eco version is where things get interesting—Sunreef’s Solar Skin 3.0 and electric propulsion are not marketing fluff. The system works, and it changes how you operate the boat. You’re not eliminating fuel entirely, but you’re cutting generator hours and extending time between refueling stops. That matters when you’re cruising remote areas.

This boat is for owners who want superyacht space without superyacht complexity. If you’re moving up from a 70-foot cat and you understand the operational reality of a 200 GT vessel, the 100 Power makes sense. If you’re coming from a monohull background and you’re used to crew-intensive operations, the catamaran layout will feel refreshingly simple. But if you’re expecting turn-key simplicity or strong resale liquidity, you’re in the wrong market. Sunreef builds custom boats, and that means longer lead times, more decisions, and a smaller resale pool.

The market for 90-foot-plus catamarans is thin, but it’s growing. Sunreef has delivered multiple 100 Power hulls, and the Eco version is attracting serious interest from owners who want to reduce their environmental footprint without sacrificing capability. Resale data is limited, but early hulls are holding value better than expected. Maintenance costs are lower than comparable monohulls, but you need an engineer who understands composite construction and hybrid systems. This is not a boat you hand off to a generic crew. If you’re serious about this platform, plan to invest in training and build a relationship with Sunreef’s service network.
