The yard's own claim is unprecedented volume at 420 gross tons, with the asymmetry concept refined across two decks rather than one, and a reconfigurable 70 square metre beach area with opening terraces. That beach area is the reason to buy this boat. Most 40-metre yachts give you a garage and a swim platform. This gives you a room at the waterline.
Volume is the whole argument here, and it is one of the few places where Sanlorenzo does publish a hard number — 420 GT — so you can check the claim rather than take it. Ten guests, eight crew, 42,000 litres of fuel, 8,000 litres of water. The yard even publishes a maximum tender length of 6.32 metres, which is a genuinely useful detail nobody else bothers to print.
What it does not publish is a cruise speed, a range, a draft or a displacement. On a 40-metre boat the draft is not a trivial omission — it decides where you can go and what you pay to insure it.
