Dock & Dine in Seattle
Seattle is a berth-and-walk city, and it is unusually good at it.
Ivar's Salmon House on Lake Union is the one venue with a published boat-access statement: "To pick up food by boat, we offer a dock to tie up for a quick grab and go." Take it exactly as written — it is a to-go pickup dock, not dine-in moorage. Tie up, collect, leave.
Elsewhere on the waterfront, atmosphere is easy to mistake for access. Palisade and Maggie Bluffs sit inside a 1,200-slip marina, and arriving by water means taking a slip there first. Duke's markets an event room called "Dockside at Duke's" — a room name rather than a dock. Salty's on Alki refers to "docks just a short stroll to our location" — docks near, not docks at. Tides Tavern and Anthony's work from a berth too.
So the workable version here is dock-and-walk, and the city lines up for it. Bell Harbor puts you on the downtown waterfront; Shilshole puts you in Ballard; Fishermen's Terminal puts you a mile from the locks with the restaurants of Ballard behind it. Every one of those is a berth with a city at the top of the ramp.
The chart below is a transit diagram rather than a dining strip, because that is the more useful thing here: the salt-side marinas, the locks, the bridge that actually decides your air draft, and the freshwater yards above it.

Dockage notes are what each restaurant publishes on its own site — space is first-come and dinner-hour rafting is real, so hail ahead. Where a venue states nothing about docking, we say so rather than guess.
