Per Dana Point Harbor Partners: *"Wind & Sea's final day of business on the Wharf will be September 15, 2026 in preparation for Building 1 construction. Buildings 2-5 will follow for remaining Wharf retailers and restaurants with the final day of business on October 31, 2026."*

By November 2026 the waterfront restaurant row is closed for the duration of the next construction phase. Confirm any booking directly with the restaurant before you plan an evening around it.
And dining here has never worked from a guest dock. None of the four waterfront restaurants offers boat-in access — one markets its dining, in its own word, "for landlubbers." You berth, and you walk.
So the working instruction for Dana Point through this transition is: berth first, and expect the shore side to be a building site for a while. Guest berthing books up to 60 days ahead, and the Harbor Patrol assigns transient berths for about 42 craft on a 24-hour watch on VHF 16. The fuel dock runs seven days with the longest weekend hours in the harbour.
