Dock & Dine in The Berry Islands
Dining in the Berries starts at the dock, because both venues belong to marinas.
Chub Cay publishes the hours. The Clubhouse Restaurant serves breakfast daily 07:00–11:00, lunch 12:00–15:00 and dinner 18:00–21:00 with "reservations encouraged." The Clubhouse bar is "Open all day." The Nauti Rooster Bar & Grill runs daily from 16:00 until late, kitchen 16:00–21:30. The Tiki Bar — the pool bar — is Thursday to Sunday 11:00–19:00, and the operator adds honestly that it is "subject to demand and weather." And there is a genuinely good line for anyone who fished the drop-off that morning: catch and cook — "bring your fresh catch to The Clubhouse restaurant ahead of time and we will prepare it for you."
Chub Cay also publishes exactly what a passing boat may do. Its home page states: "Non-members can still clear customs and get fuel, 7am to 7pm." The Members Guide states that "Amenities are for registered members and approved guests only", that "All guests must be submitted to the guest portal 48 hours prior to arrival for approval", and that RFID bracelets are worn for cashless spending. So the instruction at the south end is: clear and fuel as a visitor, and book a slip or ask ahead if you want the table. Do not arrive at seven expecting one.
At the north end the marina itself is the venue. Great Harbour Cay publishes a weekly rhythm on its own site: "Monday Night Pot-Luck, Pizza Night on Thursdays, and Chill & Grill on Friday evenings."
Beyond the two marinas, dinner ashore works as a lift rather than a walk. Great Harbour Cay's marina points visitors to Bullock's Harbour for "local culture and an evening out", and offers "a ride into town" among the things its staff will do for you. That is the mechanism, stated by the operator: you berth, and somebody drives you.
So the instruction for the Berries is short. Berth first, then either eat where you are tied up or take the ride into town. The chart below runs the chain south to north — Chub Cay and the clearance airport, up the bank past the shoal anchorages, through the cut, into the hurricane hole.
