The Freedom 345 represents Grady-White’s most refined execution of the dual console concept to date. The SeaV2 hull is proven, the build quality is measurably superior to competitors in fit and finish, and the systems integration is thoughtful rather than flashy. Twin Yamaha 450 XTOs provide the performance envelope this hull deserves, and the Helm Master EX system is now mature enough to trust in real-world conditions. The Seakeeper 3 option is no longer a luxury—it’s a necessity if you’re spending extended time at anchor or running in following seas.

This boat is for the buyer who has moved past the center console purity test and now values execution over image. You’re not trying to prove anything at the dock. You’re trying to maximize days on the water without compromise. The 345 delivers that, but it requires you to accept that comfort and capability cost money. The base price is competitive, but the boat you actually want will push ,000 to ,000. That’s not a criticism—it’s reality. You’re buying a 34-foot boat with yacht-level systems and offshore capability. That costs money to build correctly.

The resale market for Grady-White remains strong, but the 345 is new enough that we don’t have five-year data yet. Based on historical trends with the 325 and 375, expect to retain 60 to 65 percent of purchase price after five years with proper maintenance. The key word is proper. This is not a boat you can neglect. Service the engines on schedule. Flush the systems. Keep the bottom clean. Do that, and the 345 will run for 15 years without major issues. Skip it, and you’ll be explaining to the next owner why the air conditioning doesn’t work and why the Seakeeper sounds like a washing machine full of rocks.
