That single comparison is the clearest illustration of what the ULTIMA range is engineered to do.
Superyacht Volume, Ordinary Berth
The Sunreef ULTIMA 88 is 28.40 m (93 ft 2 in) overall on a 9.30 m (30 ft 6 in) beam, with 387 m² of living space and 6,000 l of fuel. The classic version runs Volvo Penta D13 engines with IPS 1050 pod drives — the largest package in the range.
Nine point three metres of beam on a ninety-three-foot yacht is narrow for a catamaran. It is what lets this boat take a berth that a 12-metre-wide power catamaran of similar length simply cannot, at the same nightly rate.

The 88 measures 28.40 m, which is 93 ft 2 in — not 88 feet. As with the ULTIMA 66, the model numbers in this range are not lengths in feet.

Who It's For
This is a professional-crew yacht and the flagship of the narrow-beam range. Buy it if the 387 m² living-space figure is what you are buying, and you want superyacht volume without a superyacht berth.
The IPS 1050 package is the most capable in the ULTIMA range, and Sunreef gives battery output for the hybrid version as 22 kW to 75 kW alongside a hydrofoil option.
Design and Layout

The range's standard equipment carries over: folding bulwark platforms that widen the aft deck at anchor, custom sea-stairs, dedicated water-toy stowage, and ultralight flexible solar panels integrated across the surfaces.
Sunreef publishes no cabin or head count and no guest number for the 88. Every hull is drawn to its owner's brief.
Two Numbers You Will Have to Ask For
Neither water capacity nor draft is published for the ULTIMA 88.
On a 28-metre yacht that is a genuine gap, and on a range whose entire premise is shallow draft it is a strange omission. The 55 and 66 both publish draft; the 77 and 88 do not. Request both figures in writing before contract.
What Sunreef Does Not Tell You
Sunreef publishes no speed figure for any boat in its current range. No top speed, no cruise speed, no range — not on this model and not on any of the other thirteen we cover. That is unusual. Most yards at this level publish at least a cruise figure, and several publish full performance tables.
We have left those rows empty on the specification table rather than filling them with an estimate. If a broker or a listing hands you a precise Sunreef speed, ask where it came from, because it did not come from the shipyard.
The same applies to displacement, which Sunreef publishes for nothing in the range, and to draft, which it publishes for only three of the fourteen models. Get the numbers you need in writing before you sign a build contract. Sunreef will provide them — they simply are not on the website.
