Who This Boat Is For
Buy the Grande 36M if the program is fully crewed, the guest list fills five staterooms, and outdoor living — terrace, skylounge, bow whirlpool — is the point of the exercise. At this size the operating model is a professional crew of eight or nine hands' worth of capacity across four crew cabins, and the yacht competes on volume, outdoor architecture and efficiency rather than outright pace.
The Architecture
The Grande 36M is a 115'9" superyacht on Azimut's D2P displacement-to-planing hull: 24'7" beam, roughly 376,986 lbs at full load, GRP and carbon fiber. Alberto Mancini shaped the exterior; M2 Atelier did the interior, with a main deck that runs essentially flush from stern to bow.
The upper deck is the signature: fully retractable side windows join the skylounge to the aft terrace as one open-air room, and the bow carries an all-glass whirlpool tub and sunbathing area. Five cabins and six heads serve the owner's party; four crew cabins with their own heads support a genuine superyacht program.
Performance
Twin 2,200 hp MTUs are standard, with 2,400 hp optional — published performance is up to 24 knots maximum and an 18-19 knot cruise, drawing from 5,020 gallons of fuel. The D2P hull's double-chine form and wave-piercing bow are tuned for efficiency across displacement and planing speeds, and Azimut credits the hull and its carbon construction with 20-30% lower fuel burn and CO2 than a conventional shaft-drive equivalent.
The tankage tells you what the boat is for: 5,020 gallons of fuel and 977 of water read like a yacht built to stay out. Have consumption documented at trial speeds as part of the survey process.
