Quick Verdict

A 220-foot steel superyacht with hybrid propulsion and a recessed pool at sea level. Built for owners who want space, not spectacle.

Our Take

The B.NOW 67M represents Benetti's most mature thinking on the Oasis Deck concept. The build quality is exactly what you'd expect from a yard with 150 years of commercial and private yacht experience. The hybrid system is not a marketing gimmick—it's a practical tool that reduces operating costs and expands your cruising options in an era of tightening environmental regulations. The steel hull and aluminum superstructure are built to last decades, not just survive a five-year charter program.

This yacht is for the owner who's already been through the 50-meter learning curve and knows exactly what they need. It's not for someone buying their first large yacht or someone who prioritizes speed and exterior styling over interior volume and layout flexibility. The seven guest cabins and full-beam owner's suite make this a family or high-volume charter yacht, not a couple's cruiser. If you're planning to use this boat 120 days a year with rotating guests, it makes sense. If you're planning three weeks in August, it's overkill.

The resale reality is that Benetti yachts in this size range hold value better than most builders because the construction quality supports long-term ownership. The B.NOW series has market recognition, which helps when it's time to sell. Maintenance costs are high but predictable if you stay on top of the service schedule. The hybrid system adds complexity, but it also future-proofs the yacht as emission standards tighten. This is a 20-year yacht if you treat it like one..

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the draft of the Benetti B.NOW 67M?

Draft is 2.95 metres, 9 feet 9 inches, which is shallow for a 220-foot steel yacht and the reason this boat reaches anchorages most superyachts its size have to skip. The Bahamas and the Greek islands stay open to you, and you do not need a marina to make a stop work.

Beam is 11 metres, 36 feet 1 inch, before the Oasis Deck wings deploy, and displacement is 1,350 gross tons. Tony treats the draft as one of the quieter reasons to buy the 67M: it decides where your season can go before any other spec gets a vote.

How many guests does the Benetti B.NOW 67M sleep?

The B.NOW 67M sleeps 14 guests in seven cabins. The owner's suite is full-beam on its own dedicated deck with a walk-in closet, his-and-hers bathrooms, a private office and a 600-square-foot terrace carrying a pool, sunbeds and a bar, a layout usually reserved for yachts well over 250 feet.

Benetti lists accommodation for 17 crew in ten cabins, and Tony's working number is 13 to 17 depending on how you use the boat. The main deck is one continuous space, with a salon glazed on three sides and an aft dining table for 14, and the upper deck adds an observation lounge and a jacuzzi.

What do the fold-out wings on the Benetti B.NOW 67M's Oasis Deck do?

Hydraulic side wings fold out from the Oasis Deck, adding roughly 15 feet of beam on each side and taking the deck from 36 feet wide to nearly 50. Deployed, you have around 1,500 square feet of outdoor living space at sea level, with room for 20 people back there comfortably.

The pool is recessed into the deck with a glass front that reads as an infinity edge. Sinot handled the interiors and RWD the exterior, and the two agree on one idea: the main deck above is a single continuous room, glazed on three sides, so opening the sliding doors makes salon and aft deck one space.

Should I buy the Benetti B.NOW 67M or step up to the B.NOW 72M?

Buy the 67M if 14 guests is your number and you want an owner's deck to yourself. It runs 219 feet 10 inches with seven guest cabins and a hydraulically expanding Oasis Deck, and Tony's crew estimate is 13 to 17. The 72M is 236 feet 3 inches, sleeps 16 in eight cabins, and requires a crew of 17 with annual costs he puts at $5 million to $7 million.

The honest difference is programme size, not prestige. The 67M can still be run by an owner aboard 60 to 90 days a year. The 72M assumes a full-time crew manager and a rotating captain.

Can the Benetti B.NOW 67M cross the Atlantic without refuelling?

Yes. The B.NOW 67M covers 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots, which is Fort Lauderdale to the Azores without a fuel stop, or Monaco to the Maldives with one. It carries 110,000 litres of fuel, 29,060 US gallons, and 30,000 litres of water. Top speed is 16 knots.

The E-Mode hybrid system reduces fuel consumption by up to 20 percent at cruise, and the batteries recharge while the main engines are running, so you are not trading range or speed for the saving. Twin MAN V12 diesels produce 1,650 horsepower each. This is a 1,350-gross-ton steel yacht built to hold 12 knots across an ocean.

What does a Benetti B.NOW 67M cost to buy and run?

Tony's numbers are $55 million to $65 million to buy depending on customisation, and $4 million to $5 million a year to run, covering crew, fuel, insurance, maintenance and dockage. Budget $800,000 to $1 million of that for maintenance, refit and the repairs you did not plan for. These are his estimates, not Benetti figures.

The hybrid system pays some of it back. At around 1,000 hours of annual operation he puts the fuel saving at $200,000 to $300,000, roughly 5 to 6 percent of total operating cost, and it extends engine life and stretches maintenance intervals at the same time.
