The SL110A is the most refined execution of Sanlorenzo’s asymmetric concept to date. The build quality is consistent with what you expect from the yard—hand-laid GRP hull, attention to joinery, and systems integration that doesn’t require a full-time engineer to troubleshoot. The M96L engine package is the right call if you plan to run this boat at cruise speeds regularly. The hull performs well in the 20-to-25-knot range, and the fuel burn is competitive with other planing hulls in this size.
This boat is for the owner who has already owned a symmetrical yacht and wants something different. It’s not for someone buying their first 100-footer. The layout requires you to think differently about how you use the boat, and that’s either a feature or a dealbreaker depending on your mindset.
