The 50 SAV is Regal’s most ambitious build to date, and the execution is solid. The OceanTrac2 hull handles offshore conditions confidently, the triple 600s deliver real performance, and the build quality is consistent with what we’ve seen from Regal’s higher-end models. The LivePower hybrid system is a smart addition that reduces generator runtime and simplifies electrical management. The terrace doors and convertible cockpit layout are not gimmicks. They work.\n\nThis boat is for the owner who actually uses their vessel. If you fish regularly, cruise frequently, and want one platform that handles both without compromise, the 50 SAV makes sense. It’s not for the buyer who wants a traditional yacht aesthetic or the prestige of inboard power. It’s not for the purist who believes a fishing boat should only fish. This is a tool for the versatile boater, and it’s designed accordingly.\n\nResale on the SAV series has been strong, particularly in Florida and the Gulf Coast markets where outboard demand is high. Maintenance costs are predictable. Parts availability is excellent. The boat holds value better than most in this size class because it appeals to multiple buyer profiles. Expect to spend $1.2 to $1.5 million fully equipped, but you’re getting a boat that replaces two or three specialized vessels. That’s the real value proposition here.
