The PC52 is one of the most honest boats in the power catamaran market. Horizon builds a solid hull with proper engineering and real offshore capability. The twin Cummins setup is bulletproof. The V-drive configuration keeps the engines accessible and the props protected. Fit and finish are excellent for a production boat. This is not a custom yacht, but it is built to a standard that will hold up to extended bluewater use.

This boat is for the owner who wants to cruise seriously. If you are planning to spend three to six months per year aboard, the PC52 makes sense. If you want the Bahamas, the Virgins, or the Grenadines without hiring crew, this is your platform. It is not for the buyer who wants a fast day boat or a floating condo at the marina. The PC52 rewards the owner who uses it the way it was designed.

Resale on the PC52 is strong because inventory is limited and owners tend to keep them. Maintenance costs are predictable if you stay on top of systems. The Cummins engines are proven and parts are available. The hull design is forgiving and the shallow draft is a real advantage in the cruising grounds where this boat spends most of its time. If you are serious about extended cruising and want a platform that will take you anywhere without drama, the PC52 is one of the best values in the 50-foot catamaran class.
