That is the Tiara 39 LE. It is not a sportfish and it is not a center console with a cabin tacked on the front. It is a proper express cruiser that happens to run twin Mercury V12 outboards, and at this length that combination is unusual enough to be the reason you look at it.

This boat is for the owner-operator who wants overnighting capability without hiring help. You are comfortable running your own boat. You want to leave on Friday afternoon, sleep aboard, and come back Sunday without anyone else's calendar involved.
The 39 LE works for couples who cruise together and for families who need two sleeping quarters rather than one. It is also the right size for someone stepping up from a thirty-something center console who has decided they want a head, a galley and air conditioning without giving up handling.
If you want a fishing platform first and accommodation second, look elsewhere. The 39 LE puts its volume below deck on purpose.
Design and Layout
The main deck is built around a salon social zone. The helm seat rotates inward and the companion seat adjusts to form an L-shaped lounge, so the front of the boat becomes seating the moment you shut the engines down. That is a small piece of engineering that changes how the boat feels at anchor.
Aft, the cockpit takes one of two modules. The Buffet Lounge is the entertaining setup. The Adventure module is the working one. An aft-facing cockpit seat and storage work with either. This is a decision you make at order, not an afternoon's reconfiguration, so make it against how you actually use a cockpit.
Below deck are two well-appointed sleeping quarters and a three-zone head - the arrangement that puts the 39 LE in express-cruiser territory rather than day-boat territory at this length. The galley sits below deck on purpose, with a sink, microwave and cooktop. It keeps the cooking out of the social space above rather than in the middle of it.

Tiara tested this boat on the St. Lucie River off Stuart, Florida, at 27,472 lbs as tested, three aboard, in 15 to 20 knots of wind. Wide open throttle was 53.7 mph at 6,395 rpm. Idle to 30 mph took 11.5 seconds.
The cruise figures are the ones to plan around. Tiara publishes two optimum settings: 34.5 mph at 4,500 rpm for 305 statute miles, and 39.5 mph at 5,000 rpm for 312. Both come off 90 percent of the 500-gallon tank, so the reserve is already accounted for - and on this hull the faster of the two is also the longer-legged one, which is not how it usually works.
The 21-degree deadrise at the transom is what carries that speed in a chop, and the outboards mean you are not opening hatches in the salon sole to reach an engine. Service happens at the transom.
What to Settle Before You Order
Pick the cockpit module deliberately. Buffet Lounge if entertaining at anchor is the pattern, Adventure if the cockpit needs to work.
Then run the boat at your intended cruise rpm and get observed burn in writing. Tiara's sheet describes one hull on one day at one weight; your numbers come off 500 gallons and your own trial.
And spend time in the 39 LS before you commit. It shares this boat's 39'6" length, 12'6" beam and 21-degree deadrise, and it answers a different question: volume on deck, with a walkaround layout and a portside terrace, instead of volume below.
Where to Start
The 39 LE opens Tiara's Luxury Express line, below the 43 LE and the 48 LE, and carries the same brief in a hull one owner can run alone. If two sleeping quarters and a proper galley are the point of the boat, this is the smallest one in the range that delivers them.
Step up to the 43 LE for the same idea with more of it. Step across to the 39 LS if a terrace and a walkaround deck matter more than the second stateroom.
