Design and Layout
The word the yard uses is openness, and on this boat it is literal. The Bali Door, the large windows and the wide deck openings mean the outside comes in, and the Open Space that results takes fifteen people comfortably.
Usable deck area is 946 sq ft (87.9 m²). Forward, the rigid moulded foredeck replaces netting with a platform that holds cushions and stays dry, and a dedicated door connects it to the saloon so it is a room rather than a destination. Above, the flybridge carries the helm and the seating together.
Below, three- and four-cabin versions are offered, each cabin with its own head, so the four-cabin layout carries two couples without anybody sharing. Living With It
The step up from the 4.2 is measurable rather than cosmetic: 94 sq ft more usable deck, 13 inches more beam, 355 sq ft more maximum upwind sail area, 43 gal more fuel, and a jump in CE offshore rating from ten persons to twelve. It is the length at which the range's layout stops being clever for its size and simply becomes roomy.
What that buys you in daily life is provisioning and margin. 615 liters of cold storage and 228 gal of water change the planning horizon for a long trip. What it costs you is beam: 24'3" is a marina question, and it is worth answering for your home berth and your intended cruising ground before you order rather than after.
Load is the other honest conversation. 30,038 lbs empty against 43,367 lbs at maximum load is real capacity, and it is capacity you can fill without noticing.
